great to good

in response to this, here are two possible actions:

People: individuals should concentrate on taking back responsibility for their actions and realising that ultimately they are the only ones living their lives, not the brands.

Brands: brands should read this post and forget about being only being great, they've got to be great and good. Only then will nanny state vitriol from The Guardian cease and people realise that companies can play a positive role in this world.

For the record I'm writing this on a mac, about to go to the carling academy and jotting down notes with a free pen some other brand gave me. it's not all bad.
